The Woolamai Race Course is in a pretty country setting at the foot of the hills with views over the surrounding farmland. It is a nice easy drive from Melbourne and a wonderful area to stay for the weekend with the coastal resorts on Phillip Island and along the coast to Inverloch, all within a 30 minute drive.
Enjoy all country racing has to offer at one of Victoria’s premier race tracks located in the heartland of Victoria’s Thoroughbred Country in an intimate setting, with sweeping views of the course. Get up close and personal with jockey’s and trainers from all over the state, whilst enjoying all of the racing action right from the Mounting Yard to the Winning Post at your leisure.
We encourage racegoers to embrace country casual; where you can enjoy backing a winner from our bars and bookmakers on course. We also offer plenty of outside grandstand seating for those looking to watch the races from a great undercover spot. Parking is FREE. Patrons are able to BYO alcohol and food, however glass bottles and sharp knives are strictly prohibited.
Families and groups will be kept well entertained with live music and kids activities on course.
